After the great success of Ady's comeback concert in 2019, we were asked by many fans to bring him back to Herdecke for the next festival. And he has accepted! Ady Zehnpfennig is an icon of the pop organ era and to this day also a sought-after producer. Like only a few, he succeeds in creating imaginative arrangements that always catch the ear and a perfectly tuned sound that testifies to the great musical and technical expertise of this artist. The chance to see Ady live again this year at the TASTENFESTIVAL is not to be missed!

Alois Müller is a good example of how to make good use of modern social media platforms like YouTube. The man from Bendorf now has around 15,000 subscribers on his channel, and anyone who opens the video platform as a keyboard player will almost "inevitably" come across his videos thanks to YouTube's equally sophisticated and inscrutable distribution algorithms. Alois is also a fantastic player and musician. At this year's TASTENFESTIVAl, he will impart his knowledge in a number of workshops as well as take to the keys himself in his latenight on Saturday evening.

To talk about Claudia and her perfect interpretations on the Wersi organ would be carrying "owls to Athens". It is not for nothing that she is one of the world's busiest protagonists on her instrument. And even in the world of classical music she has made a name for herself and her instrument as an orchestral accompanist of great voices. Claudia has been awarded several international prizes as a soloist and composer.
The sunny boy from the Netherlands has been successfully touring with his Böhm organs for almost 30 years. DirkJan is without question one of the busiest organists in Europe. With regular television appearances in his home country or also in Denmark, extensive concert tours in England and on the continent as well as numerous CD productions, DirkJan delights his constantly growing fan community. In 2022, DirkJan can once again be heard on the concert stage of the TASTENFESTIVAL.
Hardly any other artist is as regular a visitor to Herdecke as George. His performances on the concert stage or his latenights in the cellar bar are almost legendary. But also the seminars in which he gives interested and ambitious hobby players insights into his musical bag of tricks are always fully booked. At the 2022 Festival, George will once again put his incredible musicality centre stage in a concert spot and will enchant the audience with his ingenious arrangements on the Roland Atelier organ! George will also be back as a lecturer and of course with his traditional Latenight in Herdecke!
We are very pleased that Howard will be a guest at the TASTENFESTIVAL again this year. He is one of the most popular organists in the organ "stronghold" of England. His trademark is his almost unbelievable stylistic diversity, ranging from the traditional theatre organ to the modern electric organ and groovy Hammond beats. Look forward to a fantastic concert with many musical surprises!

Jörg Wahl first came into contact with the sound of the electronic organ over 45 years ago, and it still captivates him today. He learned to play the organ autodidactically and has continued to develop. For more than 35 years, Jörg has been successfully touring as an organist with his "virtual orchestra" at home and abroad. As a versatile musician, he has mastered many styles from easy listening songs to concertante and classical music. Jörg Wahl is making his first guest appearance as an artist at the Tastenfestival this year and is already very much looking forward to his latenight audience on Thursday evening (29.09.) in the Wintergarten restaurant.

Catchy electronic sounds take us into a musical dream world. MADIS' music is a combination of classical synthesiser music in the style of Jarre, Vangelis and others with modern trance and electronica. He has already released several successful albums since 2013. His version of Hans Zimmer's title theme from the science fiction blockbuster "Interstellar" has already inspired 10 million fans on YouTube. In addition to his studio projects, it is especially important for MADIS to perform live and be in direct contact with his fans. At the TASTENFESTIVAL he will present a varied programme of his own compositions and classics of the genre.

For many years he worked as a demonstrator for Yamaha across Europe and was also involved in the development of Yamaha instruments. Michel Voncken programmed and developed for Yamaha's CVP, Tyros and PSR series. He was also involved in the development of the new flagship "Genos" from the very beginning. The flying Dutchman, or the "Tulip Michel" as many like to call him, delights his audience with charm and convinces with his enthusiasm and love for the instruments. At the beginning of 2017, Michel decided to go new ways both privately and musically. With his wife, he runs a music school and creates successful software packages for Yamaha keyboards.

For over 40 years, Pete Shaw has toured with his keyboards all over England and is one of the most accomplished keyboard artists in the country, both on stage and in the studio. He plays as a solo artist as well as in various formations, has musically accompanied various theatre and television shows in England as musical director and studio producer. At home in Wales, he produces in his own state-of-the-art studio when he is not touring with his Korg keyboards. Pete is a regular guest at all the major organ and keyboard festivals in England, and we are delighted to finally be able to present him in Herdecke this year.

Thomas Gulz not only proves in his CD reviews, poduct tests and reports in the OKEY that he is a profound connoisseur, especially of the jazz organ, its artists and the music on it, Thomas is also an outstanding performer on the instrument himself. This year, he will once again host a latenight and pass on his enormous knowledge of the 9 drawbars and the tone wheels in interesting workshops.
